檢查mail發現了這封信, 讀完之後, 想哭 ~~~
和我合作將近2年的BARK即將吹起熄燈號, 該會將於2010/12/31停止一切流浪貓狗的救助, 並於明年年中將目前手上所有的狗狗送出之後, 結束5年來救援流浪動物的行動。

Hi all,
BARK was founded in April 2006. It’s really difficult to say for sure how many animals we impacted over the last five years or so. Our records show that we rescued and directly cared for over 50 animals annually. That’s more than one new dog or cat every week for the last five years. But that is only a minority of the animals we impacted. BARK has become much more than just a rescue group.
We’ve become a helpful resource for people who help animals on their own, and for anyone who keeps pets. We receive over one hundred emails every month from people who have questions or problems with pets, strays, etc. We are not professionals but we have gained a lot of experience over the years.
In 2008, we started a neutering program and in the last two years, we neutered and vaccinated any animal for free. Since then, between our CNR program and our neutering program, we have neutered almost one thousand animals.
We started BARK almost 5 years ago and we’ve been busy every day working with animals since then. We have had very good moments and we have had very sad and enduring moments as well. We associated with very good people who helped out tremendously, and we have also had the misfortune of associating with a select few people who made things very difficult for us, too. That’s life, I guess. You win some and you lose some. In the end, we feel very thankful and humbled. You know who you all are.
It’s time for us to move on. Taiwan is home to us now, but at the same time, it’s not our forever-home. We plan to leave Taiwan in the next year or two at the most and we need to concentrate on our future plans. And of course, we need a year or two to find a home for the animals under our care. We have long been telling people to start early to try to find a home for a pet if they plan to leave Taiwan. We want to live up to that, too, and that’s why we need to plan a year or two in advance. It’s time to stop rescuing animals and to concentrate on finding homes for the animals we are currently responsible for. Those we care for directly and those living with foster families.
We helped many animals in Taiwan, but as much as we’d like to, we can not dedicate our entire life to helping animals here. We came to Taiwan, we help animals, and the time has come to move on to new horizons. We learned a lot about ourselves, about other people, about Taiwan and about its plight for education toward a better treatment of animals. We will still be working with animals in the next year or two. Natasha will still TNR cats and I will continue to help local Aishin Mamas catch dogs. I will also be building wheelchairs for handicapped dogs; something I have been doing for a while already.
As of December 31, 2010, BARK will no longer operate unless someone else wants to step up to the plate. BARK is up for adoption.
It’s with joy, sadness and an array of other emotions that we announce this decision today. But it is without regrets. BARK has been a huge part of our lives and it has carved memories that will stay with us forever. We have rescued many animals from unforgiving streets, but for the lesson they have taught us, maybe, just maybe, they are the ones who rescued us.

Very sorry to hear about it, but I respect your decision.
Sorry that Taiwan is not 100% to make a forever home for you, but wherever you go, there are always people you like and those are pain in the ass.
I don't think I am capable of adopting BARK as a whole, but if I can make contribution to continue your legacy, please let me know.
I will be very glad to learn more skills from you to help more animals in the future.
Thanks for doing so much for those animals.
